MuleSoft Senior Software Engineer- REMOTE- (NJ)
Overview
This is a remote role that may only be hired in the following location: NJ (1 day in the office)
This position requires complex technical Knowledge of MuleSoft 4.0, the candidate needs a very strong understanding of MuleSoft development concepts. Good understanding and work experience with overall API Management concepts and fundamentals. Ability to create conceptual end to end integration deliverables, technical specification documents and recommend high quality solutions for the Mule ESB integration platform. The ability to Analyze, code, test, and implement in coordination with management, associates, and end users while following the Enterprise SDLC. Serves as production system support by resolving issues and ensuring ongoing functionality. May oversee the work of less experienced analysts or assist in special projects as needed.
Responsibilities
• System Enhancement - Performs a variety of actions that evaluate and improve department systems, processes, and applications. Utilizes Mulesoft Platform to construct API's, develop testing methods, and design materials. Provides new feature time estimates for system changes and assists in implementing modifications. Executes test plans to validate application functions as designed.
• Analysis - Collects data related to user requests and determines scope, time estimates, and system impacts. Inspects business specifications, programming specifications, coding, test plans, documentation, and implementation plans for accuracy. Experience in troubleshooting Mule ESB, including working with debuggers, flow analysers, and configuration tools.
• Business Support - Provides technical support to production systems by addressing reported issues, anticipating maintenance requirements, and ensuring functionality for end user needs. Drafts documentation to be used for system, end user, and operational purposes, including technical specifications and application designs. Hands on experience in using Software development methodologies like Agile Methodology, Scrum and Waterfall software development processes.
• Technical Expertise - Design, develop MuleSoft API's and provide instructions to Deploy into Cloud environment. Identify, analyze and develop interfaces and integration flows using Mule ESB Anypoint Studio - Mule Connectors, Database, MSMQ, HTTP, Web Service Consume and Email. Experience in creating the Mulesoft API architecture with the Experience, Process and System API layers . Able to work with various components of Anypoint platform Exchange Design Center and API management.
• On-call Support - Provides 24/7 on-call support via rotations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Software application development and maintenance OR High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Software application development and maintenance. 3 years' experience in MuleSoft development and integration projects.
Preferred Education: Bachelor Degree Preferred Area of Study: Computer Science Preferred Area of Experience: Mule API Manager and RAML over Anypoint Studio; Anypoint Cloud-Hub;API Gateway and Management; Mule Dataweave; SOAP; XSD; WSDL
Preferred Qualifications: TIBCO Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) ; experience in the Banking and Finance Industry worked with Okta; Biztalk;.Net integration; MS.NET; ASP.NET; SQL Scripting; Experience with ServiceNow or other information technology ticketing system, Ability to build strong collaborative and productive relationships, In-depth knowledge of System Life Cycle Development methodology (Waterfall and Agile), Ability to be on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, on a rotating basis
